We have received some fab news that we couldn’t wait to share with you all regarding one of our own little swimmers!
Martha was one of the first Children in the U.K. to begin her learn to swim journey using our very own Aquaplane. Not only did she use the Aquaplane, but she also had Chris, Aquaplanes inventor, teaching her from start to finish!
Luckily we kept some video footage of Martha learning to swim, with progression at different stages, which can be viewed here “Start to finish with Aquaplane“.

The London Aquatics Centre gala that Martha was swimming in was the ISA (Independent Schools Association) Nationals.
To get her place at the nationals she firstly had to get timed in her school swimming lesson of which she was fastest in freestyle and breaststroke in her age group.
From this she was selected to represent her school at the ISA north west schools gala in Macclesfield – swimming breaststroke and freestyle.
Breaststroke she was 4th overall and therefore didn’t qualify to swim in the finals in London.
However, for freestyle, She was 1st in her heat but 2nd fastest over all in her age group, (swimming only 0.8 seconds slower than the winner), this meant she was selected to represent the North in the freestyle relay at the nationals.
Martha is a fine example to show the importance of Swim teaching along with using the best swimming aid on the market.
“Martha has always been a bundle of joy to teach! She works hard each lesson and strives to succeed! Martha’s hard work has rewarded her with a bronze medal! Well done Min!!!!” Chris Shore, Director.
